For
purposes of continuity, the members
elected to CIF/ IFC - Newfoundland and
Labrador Section Executive Committee
will administer the Registered
Professional Forester Program. The
Executive will provide for general
management of the affairs and business
of the Registered Professional
Forester Program and transact the same
in accordance with the By-Laws of the
CIF / IFC - Newfoundland and Labrador
Section. A joint CIF/ IFC RPF
annual meeting will be held in each
calendar year. Other meeting are
called as the Executive Committee may
determine necessary.
A Registrar will be appointed by the
Executive of the CIF / IFC
Newfoundland and Labrador will keep a
registrar and it will be known as the
Register of Newfoundland Professional
Foresters Program and will contain the
names of all persons who are members
in good standing. The register is open
for public inspection at all
reasonable times at no charge. Upon
registering a person as professional
forester, the Registrar issues a
Certificate of Registration to that
person.
A registered Professional forester
must pay an annual fee, prescribed by
the By-Laws, to the Registrar or any
person appointed by the Registrar to
accept payment of the fee. The
Certificate of Registration will be
renewed annually to all Registered
Professional Forester's whose
registration is not under suspension,
or canceled and who has paid their
annual fee.
